Method of Structure Auditing

Method of Structure Auditing

We believe that any redevelopment and repair work must be preceded with a detailed survey of the situation in order to identify a suitable remedial measure and estimate the repair cost. As a bonafide member of the BMC panel in the capacity of Structural Engineer, we undertake various surveying projects.

The BMC Act. Society By-Law No. 77 states compulsory Structural Audit of every building (a) once every five years after 15 years of construction completion, (b) once every three years upon 30 years of construction completion.

The various steps we take to generate a leakage survey report are as follows:

  • Visual inspection of every flat, both internally and externally
  • Summarisation of data collected, an in-depth study of cause of leakage using individual flat drawings
  • If necessary , then we will also ask to carry out NDT Test.
  • Generation of an estimated cost of repair programme
  • Identification of critical zones through photographic exhibits
  • Initiation of priority-driven repair programme
